Be A Society Darling, Host Your Soirée at The Blue Stoops

It has always been our intention to host wonderful parties at The Stoops and indeed Charlie and I have been missing those fun pre-opening nights of last Autumn when hordes of locals descended on the bar and set about the complimentary beverages and snacks.

Well, that moment has arrived and we have come up with party/event menus for food and drinks - click here to have a look. We can host up to 75 in the bar or 100 on an exclusive basis. I believe our terms are competitive but you will perhaps be the best judge of that.

The long and the short of it is, we’d love to be the pub that hosts your happening and will do our very, very best to make it special just for you, whether it’s a christening or wake.

We had a dry-run last week with a few friends in the bar and did a pretty passing imitation of a bun-fight with Madeira Cobblers and Gildas (look it up) flowing freely. Here is a nice picture of Sergio doing what he does so well!

In general we don’t do exclusive hire but depending on what else is going on we are of course up for a debate on this or any other matter.
